Haven’t been on here in a few days.

Soooo I went to Not So Silent Night on Friday and I will recap:
1. Scene of Action… uhh… yeah. Don’t even need to get into that.
2. Metric: awesome!! my favorite song: “Gimme Sympathy”. I really love Metric, actually. I really do. Their video for “Gimme Sympathy” is tight, too. I recommend watching it.
3. Vampire Weekend: awesome live band! sound just like their recordings. Really really happy and talented, but I don’t think I could listen to a whole CD of their music. :) But they were awesome and very bouncy.. haha. Really fun band. “apunk” & “cousins” = amazing!
4. 30 Seconds to Mars: EPIC INTRO. In the dark, the played that one really epic operatic song that is the background music for everything intense… so it went on for hella long in the dark and when the bass drum came in the whole stadium shook… sooooo awesome!! And then at the end of the song the band joined into the song. It was really really cool. They were great performers and the singer had an amazingly strong and resilient voice, and then he went on to say that he was really sick and sounded terrible. Wtf? haha. Such a great voice. :) So during their last and greatest song (“Kings & Queens”) the sound cut out… yeah. For like 5 minutes. But they were really chill about it and everyone was cheering for them and eventually the sound came back on and they started the song over from the beginning. They were sooo good!!
5. AFI: wow wow wow great performers. They started out with just the instrumentalists onstage playing and the strobelights were on as the singer walked out in a silver suit.. Idk it’s hard to say it so it sounds impressive but I was very impressed. Amazing performers!! They were always running around and having fun and just making the show really interesting and entertaining. They’re just a little too heavy for my style but I love “Medicate” :)
6. MUSE: OH MY GOD. Best live band ever… and inspired me. So they only have three people so Matthew Bellamy always plays an instrument so they can’t really move around all the time so their light shows are amazing. OH MY GOD. I now want to be a stage lighting technician.. just watching their show was so cool. They have an absolutely fantastic live sound but the lights and effects really make the show. But besides the lights, every song of theirs was phenomenal and I am so so so glad I went to NSSN!!
